This is Adrian and Kim Muscat, from ADKI Griffon’s, we reside in the sunny island of Malta, in the heart of the Mediterranian, our leisure pursuit is the Brussels Griffon Breed.

In 2005 we got married and it was here that made us fall in love with dogs, we got a Labrador retriver, we got interested in showing and was hooked, we decided to take showing more serious, we decided to search for an ideal breed as our Labrador was not a show quality, we met with the Brussels Griffon breed, it was love at first sight, we just wanted to set our breeding to Brussels Griffon’s.
In the mean time we found a good home for the Retreiver as it was not a quality bred dog.

Griffon’s were introduced to us in 2006 we searched for the best blood lines and planned for breeding the Griffon that we allways wished for, that meets the standard, we spoke with several breeders, followed the breed at several well known shows, travelled to the UK, Sweden and Finland and met several breeders.

We saw a promising Bruxellois Male from UK and tought that it would be good for show, after 7 months, unfortunately our Sam passed away, we discussed further how we can start a healthy breeding, in mean time Ylva of Braids kennel from Sweden encouraged us to continue on our plans towards this breed, she guided us and started our Griff’s family by letting us have Glenn, (Int CH Braids Gillispie) big thanks also to Christina Nilsson, Eija Koskolin bred a female Bruxellois named Huvikummun Lollipop Candy, she is such a beauty of this breed and was a good start for our knwlidge in this breed.

We also thank Jill and Harold Booth, Jeff Bazell and Jeff Kerstner of Doveland for guiding us to plan our breeding and for making available some of their breeding stock to us, all the way from the USA accros to Malta, it was quite hard to start and not very easy too.

We really love to look after our gang of griffons, and it is irresistable for us not having them around us.
Elisa our daughter is also obsessed about the dogs, as well as to them.

Our breeding program is aimed to produce healthy and excellent Brussels Griffon, ensuring a very high standard of the Wright heads, bodies, good structure, powerful movement, and good temperament for many to enjoy whether as a companion or showing and we offer full support to our offspring’s for all of their life. We look forward to successful years of showing and breeding the Brussels Griffon breed.
Dogs have been and will always be an important part of our life.
